The huge dungeon is the greatest construction of the entire complex: its body towers above the walls, clearly visible from the outside.
It is dated as the oldest building, because of its large stonework parts with herringbone waves.
It was originally an isolated building, furthermore enclosed inside the walls during the centuries.
The tower counts four levels above the ground, a basement and a walkway all around the battlements.
Every floor owns one bedroom; floors are connected with an internal lift and a wooden back stair.
On the top floor we find a flight to the roof and the walkway.
As the whole area stands above the path guard, this is the place where to enjoy breathtaking views of the surroundings.
