The ground floor is defined by very large rooms, such as the kitchen and the living room, characterized by vaulted or wooden ceilings, connected one another through small passages and opened to the outside.
The central group of rooms consists in four wide fascinating spaces, which constitute the oldest part of the fortress.
During the recent restoration, the original plasters and the earthenware, stone and wood ancient floors have been recovered, as to emphasize the sober appearance of the whole fortress.
